This policy explains how Bookwy processes information when you visit our website or use the Bookwy back office and BookwyDrop browser extension.
1. Information we process
- Account information: name, email, country, store details, role and subscription status.
- Product and listing information: titles, images, prices, descriptions, variants, specifications and source references you choose to import.
- Order information: order identifiers, purchased items, amounts, shipping details, status and tracking information required to manage fulfilment.
- Technical and support information: API keys, extension settings, diagnostic logs, browser version and reports you explicitly send for troubleshooting.
- Payment records: subscription status and transaction references supplied by our payment provider. Bookwy does not store your full card or payment-account credentials.
2. Why we process it
We use this information to provide and secure the Service, perform actions you request, synchronize products and orders, manage subscriptions, respond to support requests, diagnose failures and meet legal obligations.
3. Browser extension
The extension operates on supported marketplace and supplier pages to perform user-requested workflows. Its API key and preferences are stored in browser extension storage. Operational logs remain local unless you choose to send a support report. Short-lived workflow state is cleared after completion or expiry.
4. Sharing and service providers
We do not sell personal data or use it for third-party advertising. Information may be processed by infrastructure, database, email, monitoring and payment providers needed to operate the Service, or disclosed where required by law.
5. Customer and buyer data
Marketplace buyer details are processed only to support order management and fulfilment on the seller’s instructions. Sellers remain responsible for using and retaining this information in accordance with marketplace rules and applicable data-protection law.
6. Retention
We retain account and operational records while your account is active and as needed for contractual, security, tax and legal purposes. Local extension data is removed when you clear it or uninstall the extension. Available deletion controls can be used to remove operational records, subject to required retention periods.
7. Security
Connections to Bookwy use HTTPS. Access is authenticated and API keys can be revoked from the back office. No online service can guarantee absolute security, so please protect your credentials and report suspected misuse promptly.
8. Your choices and rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your personal data, and may object to certain processing. You can also update profile information, revoke API keys and cancel a subscription from your account.
